Latest Update to YKK Catalog
An install error that prevented the YKK vendor name from being added to the Vendors list inside v15 was fixed on the 11th of January. On the 15th we fixed a problem with the Handing and Hinging of the doors and door frames being transposed.

Prior to this date, a Left Handed door was being listed as Left Hinged, so the program was drawing the door incorrectly. This is all corrected in the r4 catalog posted on the 15th.

Another Update to US Aluminum Catalog
We apologize for the inconvenience with this, but we heard from a few customers that there were problems with the some miscellaneous parts having the wrong "Part Type" assignment, stock length values (which they shouldn't have), and in some cases package or roll pricing, where they should be per foot and per unit pricing.

The latest catalog is 2008 r4, and can be downloaded from the following page. WinBidPro Download Page

v15 US Aluminum Finish Names don't match prices.
The newly updated US Aluminum 2008 catalog for the WinBidPro v15 software had the wrong finish color names for the pricing columns in the parts list. They should be Clear, Bronze, Black/71, No Color, Mill/Other, respectively.

The corrected catalog was posted on 11-03-08. You can either change these finish names in your catalog via the "Edit Finish Names" button in the Parts List, or you can download the updated catalog. If you have a catalog already installed with the same name, the new catalog will not install. You will either have to Delete the old catalog, or rename the old vendor folder and/or vendor file, and install the new catalog.

If you rename the old file or folder, the Vendors window will now find that older vendor the next time you open the list. You can click the "Add New" button to add this vendor back to the list by looking for the file that you renamed.

YKK Catalog pricing was updated.
The latest YKK catalog for v14 was just posted with a "2008 r1" name. Not all prices were affect, but about half of the catalog has revised pricing. See the v14 Vendor Catalogs link in the v14.1 page to download this catalog.

v15.0.38 Beta 4 recently posted
We are hoping that this update for v15 is one of the last before the initial release of this new program.

Here are some key items we fixed and added for this latest release:
* Finish Color now prints on Final Parts Report
* Metal Cut Recap should not have a blank page after the printed pages
* Change Frame button was added to Jobs window
* Backup and Restore buttons were added to Jobs window
* Copy button was added to Jobs window
* Door leaf stock length parts in "Door Settings and Parts" window are now working so that a pair of doors have a separate Meeting Stile, and Lock Stile. Single doors will use a Hinge Stile and Lock Stile
* Program should close completely after exiting. It should not still be running in the Task Manager after you exit.

Fix for v14 Showdrawing Problem in Vista
Go to our Home Page to see the fix for the "Run Time Error 339" message that shuts down the v14 program when you try to open the Shopdrawing tool in Windows Vista.

WinBidPro v15.0.35 Beta 4 Update Ready.
We just posted the latest update to v15 Beta 4. Install this update and it will prompt you to uninstall your previous version. Ignore any errors that may occur during the uninstall, as these won't cause any problems.

The install of the new version will begin after the older version is removed. We continue to fix reported bugs and have added a sizing tool to nearly every window in the program. You might not see your mouse cursor change when you point to a window boarder, but you can still click and drag to size the window.

AGC Catalog pricing update and posted.
The AGC North America catalog was just updated for v14.1 with new pricing. You can download this catalog now from the v14 Catalogs page.

You can Run this file from the Internet and the installation will automatically add the new vendor to your v14.1 program. You can copy jobs from the old catalog to the new one via the Jobs window, if necessary.

2007 Update for Tubelite, Inc. Now Available
Go to the v14 Vendors page and click the Tubelite link from the Table of Contents to download their latest catalog. The pricing has changed but the framing systems have not.

Be sure to read thru the catalog code definitions before using this new pricing, as it will help explain the multipliers and what parts they belong to.

Some Training Videos Are Ready for v15
Go to the WinBidPro v15 page and scroll down to find the new training videos for v15. Even though this version is still in Beta testing, you can watch the videos to learn how to use the new program. This will help Beta testers get started, and eventually all who use the new program.

These videos are Windows Media files, and simply require Microsoft Windows Media Player to view them. Since this is included with all version of Windows, you can simply click on each video link the it should begin playing right away. If you want to save a video to your computer, simply right click on the link and click "Save Target As."

EFCO catalog pricing just update.
We just posted the latest pricing for EFCO Corporation in the v14 Vendor Catalogs section of our web site. Check the "posted" date for any vendor catalog that you use and make sure you have the latest update.

Remember, when you install a v14 catalog, it will add it to the list of vendors. You can always copy jobs from your old vendor to the new one, or you can keep the old one to access old jobs. If you choose to delete your old catalog, remember that all of the jobs will also be deleted.

Arcadia Catalog Correction
The Arcadia Architectural catalog was worked on in order to fix some framing system part problems. We noticed that "part number not found" errors were occurring in some of the framing systems. These errors were corrected, but more work is needed on this catalog. We will be contacting Arcadia to get an updated parts list to correct part number and pricing problems.

Kawneer Catalog Update
The Kawneer catalog was reposted. The new catalog will show up as Kawneer 2005 r2 when you open it in GDS. Apparently, the updated framing system files weren't showing up in the previous download. You can install this catalog in addition to your existing Kawneer catalog, and it will simply be added to your list of vendors. If all of your vendor slots are full, you might have to delete a vendor before you can install this catalog. Remember to backup any vendor folder or files before you delete them.
